Dr Mukta Sachdev is a Consultant Dermatologist and Head of the Department of Dermatology in Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, India. She also runs a private boutique dermatology office practice and is Medical Director of MSCR Pvt Ltd, a specialised dermatology research centre for dermatology trials in darker skins.

Dr Mukta Sachdev is regarded as one of the global experts in skin of colour and is an international expert in the field of cosmetic dermatological procedures and lasers in skin of colour.

She is trained in dermatology in India, with fellowships from the UK and the USA. She has been in cosmetic dermatological practice since 1995. She has won several awards in dermatology and has presented and published numerous papers in national and international journals and co-authored two dermatology textbooks and written several chapters in textbooks of dermatology.
